Oil on canvas , I live in a state that was made by mining. Cripple Creek has a gold and copper..turquoise was a by product. This rock was collected by the miner for personal stash. Recently relatives are finding when clearing out their elderly miners in family these shoe boxes full of Cripple Creek turquoise.. my imagination goes back to the creek where once as a child I discovered discarded pewter in the sandy banks..
