Reflecting Sky

My inspiration for this painting came from a picture that I made during our vacation in Florida. One evenenig we went for a walk at the beach from Siesta Key.
The weather changed very quickly and we considered, if it is better to take some more amazing photos or to go home to be save from lightning strikes.

I used a black canvas, because I wanted the colors to be more shiny. The wet on wet technique is the perfekt way for me to blend the different colors in a sky.
I was very happy that I got the sky reflections well into the sea. This situation brought akes the scene sort of dr
