Hope, 15x15in on uArt 400 paper, with Terry Ludwig and Girault pastels. This is from a plein air study done at my local art club. I prepared a thumb nail and charcoal value study and developed it further in my studio. This is Minnow Lake that is typically home to an ice rink in winter for kids. For this study, I chose to highlight the church that overlooks the lake, home of solace, hope and comfort.
