Painted fast and loose on the beach in Carmel, CA. As the sun was going down, hundreds of people trickled onto the beach, picnicking, drinking wine, laughing...hoping to see that elusive green flash. No green flash today, my friends, but I do feel I caught that bright glare of late afternoon sun on the surface of the saltwater ripples.
