Ones upon a time on an island

This work depicts a piece of the best day of my life. A day full of relaxation and contemplation. I was inspired by the underwater world and sunny water play. The water distorted the bottom and corals, it seemed that everything was melting from the heat. Including the clouds slowly spreading across the sky while the sun glided across the water creating rainbow highlights. For me, this painting remains the most relaxing and makes me look at the movement of the strokes and dissolve with them. The image is realistic, but it’s as if it’s about to enter another reality. Into the reality of dreams…
