It was a warm, sunny and windy day which you can see in the movement of the flowers. My umbrella stand kept getting blown over so I painted this sitting on the driveway and holding the sun umbrella in my left hand along with my paper towel. Once upon a time, the irises were in our backyard. They had overgrown their planter and it took us two day to separate them all and replant them along the driveway. Three years later they have filled in and delight us.
