Golden Temple - The Abode of the Divine

Golden Temple is the sacred spiritual shrine in India, which embodies the principles of one universal consciousness, equality, harmony and brotherhood. Its open to people of all faiths from around the globe. Its walls are covered with pure gold and many precious stones are embedded in the inside dome.

This place is my heaven on earth and meditation happens effortlessly over here for me. Spiritual hymns are played 24 hours and free food is served to all at all times.

This sacred space holds special place in my heart and hence my motivation to capture it in painting. Its painted in oils with initial wash of acrylic paints.
