The beach glass color of subtropical waters is very compelling to watch and to try to reproduce in paint. I add a bird because, well, I am a bird artist, but also to add a bit of extra motion to the painting. This painting is in the permanent collection of the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wisconsin.
