This is plein air painting done one morning in Estes Park Colorado in front of the beautiful Stanley Hotel near the center of town. It took a couple of days to complete it in that the weather was spotty going from brilliant sunshine to clouds and a little rain! The sun was needed to capture the color in the shadows of the hotel as they were each sunny time of the day!
