Foggy Morning Near Rocky Point

This is a plein air painting done just off Highway One south of Carmel, California near Rocky Point with a partial view looking south of the Rocky Creek Bridge. This bridge and the roadway on either side of it was in the news recently as the roadway broke away into the Pacific Ocean due to heavy rains in the area that several months later the damage still causes limited access south to Big Sur. I am continually drawn to the location as a plein air painter due to the fantastic view even in fog! Its also normally visited by cattle grazing below the view adding to the beauty!
