Oil painting inspired by last summer’s visit to Monhegan Island Maine. This island has a long tradition of inspiring artists! I couldn’t walk past these beautiful poppies growing alongside the road. On Mohegan Island, everything slows down and you have time to smell the roses (in this case the poppies!)
