Still life with Hydrangeas

This painting is my most recent work, created in my post-college apartment. I often buy flowers to give my place a mysterious and cozy feel. Graduating from school meant I temporarily put my work as a sculptor on hold and returned to the oil painting I was familiar with.
When people see my paintings, I hope we can chew out those flavors hidden in life to enrich our spirits with insights. The subject matter we are keen on may not matter all that much, for art is an artless result when natural truth encounters human drama.
