Imagine taking a walk down by the river and seeing this magnificent mountain view from the riverbank! Painted from a brunaille underpainting during a workshop I was teaching, I made subsequent passes of colors to achieve the feeling I experienced en plein air. Somehow, I hope those that view this scene will share in the serenity this piece evokes.
